The Herefordshire means Business Conference, powered by allpay, is set to be a packed programme of high-profile speakers covering the topics to help you and your business grow. You’ll get up-to-date advice on best practices and new approaches to grow your business, grow your engagement, grow your finances.

Keynote speeches will discuss all the tools you need for this year’s theme “A healthy business, healthy you”. We're thrilled that the UK's Number 1 Motivational Speaker, Brad Burton, will deliver our closing keynote, alongside other high-profile guest speakers from across the business world throughout the day.

Alongside Brad, we have the amazing Gary Turner. Gary co-founded and led the growth of the cloud accounting platform Xero in the UK - which is now relied upon by almost 1 million small businesses in the UK.

Most importantly, you’ll meet, share experiences with, and learn from other businesses from across our county and further afield making lots of new business contacts whilst also catching up with familiar faces by taking part in the Networking Session.
With so much on offer we are also including buffet lunch, networking, and free refreshments throughout the day. There is also exclusive member discounts to keep the day affordable.

There is a business networking breakfast prior to the start of the conference with limited numbers, bookings can be made separately at checkout.

We will be running a raffle on the day with all proceeds going to Marches Family Network.

Meet the Host...
Best known for becoming the youngest Xero Certified Advisor at the age of 13, Ollie Beale is one to watch in the business world, making waves whilst still only 17 years old. Ollie has spoke on the Main Stage at two Xerocon events, in 2019 at the ExCel London and in 2022 at Tobacco Dock. His consistent striving for more lead him to earn the title of 'Xero Ambassador', and last Summer he was rewarded by the company with his full university tuition paid

With the support of the HMBiz Team, Ollie is organising and hosting this event to gain the experience he needs to fulfil his dream of becoming a world-class business speaker. He also wishes to give back to the local business community which has helped him on his journey so far, providing a day of top class speakers, networking and education.

Gary Turner
Gary advises, guides and invests in technology companies in the UK and internationally. As an operator, he co-founded and led the growth of Xero in the UK from 2009 to 2022 and was a member of Xero’s global leadership team for 12 years. Gary took Xero's UK business from £56k of revenue in its first year to over £150 million and the position of the UK's market leader with more than 850,000 customers. He also guided the successful market entry of Xero in South Africa.

Marc Pugh
A former professional footballer who worked his way up from the conference to the premier league, spending 4 years in the Premier League with AFC Bournemouth. On his way to the top, he made 51 appearances in a Hereford United Shirt, during a 2 year stint at Edgar Street. Alongside playing football, he is a qualified as a gym instructor, personal trainer and nutrition advisor specialising in athletic performance and weight management. His aim is to make a real difference to people’s physical and mental health all over world, showing we can all benefit from educating ourselves on improving our health.
