Corporate Hospitality with a kick

As some of the Herefordshire Means Business team are huge Hereford Football Club fans and we are partners with the club, we decided to sponsor the Match Ball at the Hereford FC V Merthyr Town a huge Bank Holiday match!!

We arrived at Edgar Street on a very hot Bank holiday Monday and were met by Hereford FC's Commercial Manager Martin Brain. We were taken to the RE Resources suite where we were treated to 'The Edgar Street Experience' where a table was laid out for us and our guests Like Radio.

It was not long before the room was full with guests enjoying the hospitality on offer and were given free drinks vouchers which of course we used for Weston’s Cider!

One of the Hereford Means Business team is gluten and dairy free but this was not a problem. Hereford FC tailored to the diet requirements and provided us with a stunning roast beef dinner with all the trimmings!

After the meal Martin Brain gave a talk about all the news of the club and a few players gave a speech on the injures they had suffered and what the team where hoping for in the upcoming game. Then it was the moment we’d all been waiting for... A speech by the Legend - RONNIE RADFORD!!!! He talked about the stunning goal in the FA CUP against Newcastle United in 1972! He signed programmes for people and had selfies!

We then made our way to Meadow End to watch the game, which ended in a 1-1 draw, not the result we were hoping for but better than a loss.

As match Ball Sponsors, we were taken on to the pitch at the end of the game to receive the match ball and have a picture with the Man of the Match Gethin Hill. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality provided by Hereford FC and are looking forward to next time!
