Herefordshire Business Awards Launch 2019!

Thursday 6 June saw the launch of the 3rd Herefordshire Business Awards at the Hereford Suite at Hereford Football Club, hosted by Herefordshire Means Business,

The Herefordshire Business Awards are a celebration of talent and success rewarding Herefordshire’s high achievers, inspirational leaders and growing businesses and it was great to see a number of new businesses at the launch.

As the range of Herefordshire business, Judges and sponsors to the arrived, they were greeted with Prosecco and buffet food. The room was buzzing with conversation and networking whilst enjoying the delicious food and making new contacts.

After a period of networking guests took their seats to find out more about the Awards and the Sponsorship opportunities.

The presentations included a pre-recorded message from ITV Central's, Matt Teale who will be hosting the Award evening on the 25 October at the Three Counties Hotel. Charlotte Thomas, from the Hereford Business Solution Centre part of the University

of Wolverhampton said a few words on why they are the main sponsor for the 3rd year and what made a good awards application. She was joined by the two other judges, Sharon Pocock from Kinder Pocock Chartered Certified Accountants and Chris Tipping from The DM Lab, who shared what they will be looking for on the applications.

The evening also saw the launch of the new Herefordshire Business Awards website designed by Character Design with a new Award application add on allowing people to apply direct from the website created by The DM Lab. Chris Tipping from The DM Lab gave the guests an informative demonstration explaining the simple process to enter and nominate for this year’s Awards.

Independent Businesses can apply up to 2 Awards, with 15 categories to choose from including our 2 new awards, Business Innovation of the Year and Charity or Social Enterprise of the Year.
